Leslie Romersberger, PA-C

Leslie Romersberger completed her Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Illinois State University. Prior to joining OSF Medical Group in Pontiac in 2009, Leslie worked as a clinical dietitian at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois, BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal, Illinois, and Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

Leslie grew up in nearby Forrest, Illinois, until her family moved to Bloomington-Normal when she was 10. Both of her parents are from Livingston County.

During her education, Leslie received numerous honors including a place on the National Dean's List and the Karen Cooper Memorial Scholarship. She is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa, as well as Kappa Omicron Nu fraternal organizations.

As part of OSF Medical Group - General Surgery, Leslie does pre-operative assessments with surgical patients and visits with them post-operatively while they are hospitalized at OSF Saint James - John W. Albrecht Medical Center. She assists the surgeons in the operating room and sees patients on their post-operative visits in the office. Leslie works under the direction and supervision of Dr. Proehl and Dr. Woodland.

Leslie is married to Nathan Romersberger, a nurse at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
